What is TrustSG?
TrustSg is a nation-wide trustmark initiative that awards online merchants with the TrustSg seal when they comply with a stringent code of e-commerce practices set by the NTC. The programme is spearheaded by the NTC with the support of the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore. The benefits are two-fold. Accredited online merchants will receive due recognition for their sound e-commerce practices which include main principles of disclosure, online security and privacy protection. Consumers in return, will have peace of mind transacting with TrustSg e-merchants, thus gaining confidence in online transactions.

Fort Digital has been accredited by CommerceNet Singapore to audit both the B2B and B2C sectors.

CommerceNet Singapore is authorized to award the TrustSg seal to Business-to-Consumer (B2C) Web-based retailers who are accredited under its ConsumerTrust Global Reliability Programme and award the TrustSg seal to Business-to-Business (B2B) e-Businesses that are accredited under its BusinessTrust Global Reliability Programme.

The TrustSg seal will be accompanied by the ConsumerTrust trustmark for the B2C e-businesses and displayed by licensees of ConsumerTrust on their websites. Accredited B2B e-businesses will now display the BusinessTrust Trustmark with the TrustSg seal.

The ConsumerTrust Code of Practice and the BusinessTrust Code of Practice are based on the international practices of trustmarks established in the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Global Business Dialogue on Electronic Commerce (GBDe) guidelines and several other global regulatory standards.

iDA Singapore and Certification Bodies subsidized 100% on this programme for a very limited time till end June 2007. Contact us for the current application fee.
